The Slovenian Tourist Board (STB) is a national tourism association that plans and implements the marketing of Slovenia’s comprehensive tourism products and services and ensures the sustainable development of Slovenian tourism. Its headquarters are in Ljubljana, but it also has representative offices and information offices abroad: in Italy, Austria and Germany.
Implementation
In the period from August 1 to October 31, 2024, Slovenia Tourism implemented a successful campaign in Vienna, in which 300 ADbikes were equipped with the striking “I feel Slovenia” motif. The fleet of bikes, which were distributed throughout the city, enabled both locals and tourists to explore the city in an environmentally friendly way. The “I feel Slovenia” design on the bikes conveyed the beauty and natural diversity of Slovenia while also serving as a creative ambassador for the destination.
Results
A total of 29,011 rentals were recorded during the entire campaign. The branded bikes covered an impressive total distance of 55,120 kilometers, which is equivalent to a trip around the world. Particularly noteworthy is the reduction of 10 tons of CO2, which underlines the increasing focus of consumers on sustainable solutions.
